When to Schedule Your Newborn Session

The sweet spot for newborn photography is usually between 5–14 days old. At this stage, babies are still super sleepy and naturally curled, making those peaceful, snuggly poses possible.

That said—we know life with a newborn is unpredictable. We’ll work with your schedule and your baby’s pace. It’s never too late to capture this moment.


What a Session Looks Like

Our newborn sessions are calm, cozy, and baby-led. We keep things simple, warm, and gentle. Expect a slow pace with plenty of time for feedings, soothing, and snuggles.

You can choose between:

  • In-studio sessions with soft wraps, gentle textures, and timeless backdrops
  • In-home lifestyle sessions that document your family in your own space


What to Bring (or Not!)

We provide wraps, neutral props, blankets, and headbands. But feel free to bring:

  • A special swaddle or outfit
  • A family heirloom (like a quilt or toy)
  • Siblings or pets for a full family moment

Our goal is to keep it easy and stress-free—you focus on loving your baby, and we’ll handle the rest.

Some of the most emotional moments come when parents or siblings are in the frame. We gently guide you into natural, connected poses that feel authentic. No stiff posing—just real love.
